I’m tired of readings these repetitive ~*being a idol improves lyfe*~ secrets. People tend to think starting “fresh” in a new environment solves everything like debuting and living your dreams performing, but how long will that freshness last you? Yes normal life seems very bleak when you compare it with kpop idols on variety shows and traveling 24/7 to different countries everyday BUT it’s not like they completely have a smooth ride. Have you considered the harsh trainee years not knowing in 5 years of your life might go to waste if your group flops + insane exhausation and pressure? It’s honestly harder to be kpop star than to suck it up and make a realistic goal in life. Just try to secure a realistic, relatively stable life+job first. Don’t depend hopes and dreams on these empty and unstable goals that have a 3% chance of happening anyway. Honestly I think unless you have amazing talent + looks its best to wake up and smell the coffee. You are wasting time, energy and parent’s money by pursuing this field. If people think being a kpop idol could bring them relief of innate pressures + environmental circumstances than honestly reconsider your life
